Little Builders Preschool offers a safe, nurturing and Spanish immersive program for children ages 3 to 5 years old. We believe children learn best when they are actively involved in discovering, exploring, experimenting and interacting with their environment, and we prepare them for future academic and personal success through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

We guide children toward play that engages them in a meaningful way. Children explore different stations that fit their mood and interest. The focus and concentration they exhibit help them develop essential skills to be successful in future schooling.
Children learn through gentle guidance how to interact with others. They learn empathy, compassion, teamwork and kindness by working with one another in creative games they come up with. We provide the materials and props to encourage creativity, and they build self-confidence through working successfully with others.
Children develop fine motor skills through art projects, and gross motor skills through dance and plenty of outdoor play. We take the children outside, rain or shine. We have a wonderful outdoor space for children to explore to their hearts' content.
We help children explore the wonders of nature through hands-on learning. Children observe the butterfly life cycle from caterpillar to butterfly, learn about planting and caring for our vegetable garden, and participate in harvesting fresh produce. These experiences foster environmental awareness, responsibility, curiosity, and appreciation for the natural world.
We have circle time, during which children practice paying attention, waiting their turn, calendaring, and learning about the weather, letters, sounds, numbers and reading comprehension.
Letter recognition and phonological awareness, storytelling and reading, vocabulary development, and early writing and pre-writing activities.
Counting and number recognition, shapes, patterns and sorting, measurement and comparisons, and hands-on problem-solving activities.
Nature exploration, simple experiments, observation and inquiry, and exploring plants, animals and the environment.
Painting, drawing and crafts, music and movement, dramatic play and imaginative activities, and construction and building projects.
Cooperation and teamwork, communication and emotional expression, independence and responsibility, conflict resolution with teacher guidance, and growing confidence and self-esteem.
Teachers encourage children to make choices, explore materials, investigate ideas and reflect on their experiences, developing initiative, creativity, critical thinking and independence.
